Each housing development nominates a slate of candidates who serve as Tenant Residence Council representatives.  Their responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Holding regular meetings with tenants
• Coordinating activities and programs in their development
• Attending city-wide meetings with representatives from other TRCs
• Participating on committees, such as Moving to Work, Resident Services, Public Safety, Resident Leadership, and Finance
• Contacting appropriate HANH staff members to share ideas and concerns

Elections for Tenant Residence Council positions are held at each development at posted dates each year. Any resident over 18 or emancipated head-of household in good standing may run for any position at their respective development; these offices include President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Sargeant-at-Arms. Elections are generally held every two years.
