The Housing Authority of the City of New Haven has been awarded $20 million dollars by HUD to redevelop Quinnipiac Terrace and Riverview under the HOPE VI program.  The community will be rebuilt as a mixed-income neighborhood of two and three story townhouses and duplexes. The new design will be better integrated into Fair Haven than before, with a gridded street pattern and an architectural language borrowing from the surrounding community. Numerous resources for tenants, including a community center, will be part of the reconstruction
